About
A little about
how I got here.
I'm from Missouri originally, but my love for nature and the outdoors drew me to Montana. That's where I earned a BS in Business Administration from Montana State University — and where I learned that curiosity about how things work applies to machines, businesses, and people alike.
I went in thinking business was mostly about numbers. What I figured out along the way is that it's mostly about people — understanding them, earning their trust, and finding ways to be useful.
I started out at Home Depot as a customer service rep — the kind of job where you learn to think on your feet, deal with all kinds of people, and show up ready. It was a good lesson in the basics: listen, solve the problem, don't make things harder than they need to be.
At Graybar Electric, I was part of a team working the government vertical. My job was the connection between clients and manufacturers — understanding what people needed, communicating it clearly, and learning the electrical distribution industry from the inside.
After that I joined Power TakeOff, an energy consulting firm. I helped clients save over 500,000 kWh of verified energy, working across government, industrial, and commercial accounts.
If there's a common thread to all of this, it's that I like getting better at things. I want to work with people who push me, in industries that challenge me, on problems worth solving.

A few numbers from the last few years. They don't tell the whole story, but they're a decent starting point.

What I'm Good At
Skills can be learned.
Character is built.
Anyone can learn a CRM. Curiosity, persistence, and genuinely caring about people — you either bring that or you work on it every day.
Working with people
I enjoy connecting with people, understanding their goals, and earning trust by doing what I say I'll do. Most business problems are really people problems.
Figuring things out
I enjoy learning technical things, solving problems for people, and finding ways to make processes more efficient. I ask questions until it clicks.
Solving problems
Breaking complicated challenges into clear, practical next steps. Every customer conversation is basically a puzzle, and I like puzzles.
Adapting quickly
I've moved between electrical distribution, energy consulting, sales, and account management. Each shift meant learning fast and delivering before I felt fully ready.
Getting better over time
I read, I ask for honest feedback, and I try to get a little sharper every month. The people I respect most never stop being students of what they do.
Communicating clearly
I can explain ideas without jargon, ask useful questions, and keep communication direct. Most problems get solved early when people actually understand each other.
Interests
Industries and roles
I'm curious about.
These are areas I'm actively learning about and looking to build experience in.
What I'm Looking For
Open to the right
opportunity.
I'm looking for a role where I can use what I've learned in sales, account management, and business development — and keep learning new things along the way.
I want to work somewhere that takes its people seriously, values someone who asks questions, and works on things worth caring about.
Outside Work
Who I am when
the laptop closes.
A lot of the qualities that make someone good to work with are built on the trail, on the mountain, or out exploring.

Hiking & The Outdoors
A good trail clears my head. Whether it's a local hike or somewhere I've never been, I'm happiest outside.

Skiing
If there's snow on the ground, I want to be on it. Winter is my favorite time of year.

Travel
New cities, new places, new food. Travel is how I stay curious and keep perspective.

The Coast
Something about standing at the edge of the ocean puts everything in perspective.

Getting Better
Reading, reflecting, working out, pushing myself. I try to be a little sharper than I was six months ago.
A lot of what makes someone reliable and resilient is built away from a desk.
If that sounds like someone you'd want on your team, let's talk.

If you think I might
be a fit, reach out.
I'm always open to hearing from recruiters, hiring managers, and people building interesting things.
If you've got a role where someone who asks good questions and actually follows through would be useful, I'd enjoy hearing about it.
